In the cosmetics and personal care industry, it is the primary active ingredient in antiperspirants and deodorants, effectively inhibiting perspiration and reducing odor by forming temporary plugs in sweat ducts. In water treatment, ACH serves as a high-performance flocculant, particularly suitable for drinking water purification and industrial effluent treatment; its high aluminum content and basicity allow for superior turbidity removal and decolorization at low dosages. Additionally, it is applied as a sizing precipitant in the paper industry and as a binder in refractory materials.
